Short version: the core editor and PPTX converter work in your browser. Optional AI tools, including AI optimization and Article Writer, send the content you choose and your API key directly from your browser to the AI provider you select, never to this website's application server.

Information stored on your device

The editor uses browser localStorage to remember draft content, interface language, and editing mode. This information remains in the browser profile on the device where it was created until you clear site data or overwrite it.

Network requests

The published website serves static HTML and assets required to display the application. The project does not include account registration, advertising trackers, or an application API for receiving document content.

PPTX to Markdown

The PPTX to Markdown tool reads supported presentations locally in your browser. Presentation files, extracted text, and Markdown output are not uploaded to an application server or stored in localStorage. Images are counted and ignored; text inside images is not recognized.

AI optimization

The AI optimization tool uses an API key supplied by you to contact the AI provider you select directly from your browser. Text submitted for optimization and the API key are sent to that provider and are subject to its privacy, retention, and billing terms. This website does not receive or store the API key or submitted Markdown, and the key is not written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, URLs, or analytics events.

If you explicitly choose “Continue in Confluence editor,” the optimized Markdown is placed temporarily in sessionStorage, consumed by the editor once, and then removed. Review your provider’s policy and avoid submitting secrets or regulated data unless your organization permits it.

Article Writer

Article Writer uses an API key supplied by you to contact the AI provider you select directly from your browser. Your API key, reference material, writing context, extracted content, selected angle, draft, and review request are sent directly to that provider and are subject to its privacy, retention, and billing terms. This website does not receive or store the API key or submitted content.

The API key remains only in the current page memory and is not written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, URLs, or analytics events. Supported MD and TXT files are read locally in your browser before their text is included in a provider request that you explicitly start. Article Writer does not automatically publish content or write to external company systems.

Your choices

Clear saved drafts through your browser's site-data controls.
Use a private browsing session when you do not want content retained after the session.
Avoid entering credentials or secrets into any tool unless your organization's policies permit it.
